At their April 4, 2016 meeting, the Board of Selectmen of Easton voted to place two (2) override questions on the ballot for an election on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. The questions are as follows: Shall the Town of Easton be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to renovate and expand the Frothingham Hall Community Center? Shall the Town of Easton be allowed to assess an additional $4,416,617  in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of funding the school and general government operating budgets for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2016?
