The Town of Easton is accepting applications for a qualified individual to fill the position of Water System Supervisor, full time 40 hours per week. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred and five years of progressively responsible work in a water department, including some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements: Possession of a Class III Drinking Water Operator’s License Combined (3 Treatment and 3 Distribution), possession of a valid CDL, Hoisting Engineer’s License. The successful candidate must provide proof of an acceptable driving record from the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
Some of the job responsibilities include supervising the daily field operations, performing the duties of Operations Manager/Water Division in his/her absence; schedules and oversees work done by the maintenance staff including repairs and relocation of service lines, motorized equipment and division building and grounds; assists in reviewing plans for installation of water mains; assists the Highway Division during snow/ice removal operations, serving as Route Supervisor.
This is a union position and the hourly rate of pay is $38.25 per hour ($79,560 annual salary) with excellent benefits. This is a union position with a starting annual salary of $79,560 with excellent benefits. Full salary range is $79,560 – $104,980.
