wheaton farm barn - invitation to bid
The Conservation Commission is accepting bids for repairs to the historic Wheaton Farm Barn at 520 Bay Road.
Work will include: install pressure treated sills around the exterior; remove and replace rot at the bottoms of columns and create footings; remove some and reinforce other existing loft beams; rebuild stairs to loft; install barn door (as built by Owner); and other items, as detailed in Final Plans & Specifications by PARE Corporation dated May 31 2018. Refurbishment of one (1) 2005 Emergency One Pumper (Engine 5)
The Town of Easton is seeking qualified vendors to submit bids for refurbishment of one (1) 2005 Emergency One Pumper Engine 5 in accordance with the following specifications.

Sealed proposals will be received by the Chief Procurement Officer in the Town Administrators Office, located at the Easton Town Offices, 136 Elm Street, No. Easton, MA 02356 until 10:00am on Friday, October 5, 2018.
All proposals shall be sealed, addressed to the “Chief Procurement Officer, Office of the Board of Selectmen, Easton Town Offices, 136 Elm Street, No. Easton, MA 02356-0129.” three (3) copies of the bid are required. The bid must be signed, placed in an envelope, and sealed. This envelope is to be clearly marked with the Proposer’s name, and titled
Town of Easton – Refurbishment of one (1) 2005 Emergency One Pumper (Engine 5).
This contract will be awarded the low bidder whose bid meets all of the requirements specifications. The contract shall be awarded by the Board of Selectmen, which reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in part or in whole, any and all proposals or to take whatever action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Easton. Bids will remain firm for sixty (60) days following the opening of proposals.
